24-1345 Laboratory Sampling and Analytical Services

Description: The BRA is currently requesting proposals from laboratories who are accredited by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (“NELAP”) through the State of Texas to provide professional, accurate, timely, and defensible laboratory analysis and sampling services to support compliance with site-specific Industrial Pretreatment Programs (“IPPs”). Services will be required for the routine analysis of influent, effluent, and/or industrial effluent samples for a variety of analytes provided in “Exhibit A”. Locations to be serviced include four (4) municipal wastewater treatment plants and fourteen (14) Industrial Users (IUs) for compliance with Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (“TPDES”) Permits, and federal, state, and local Industrial Pretreatment requirements provided in “Exhibit B”.

RFP No. 24-1330 Morris Sheppard Dam Bay 9 Transition Beam and Weir Box

Description: This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) solicits information from prospective respondents (“Respondent”) as to their qualifications to conduct the necessary engineering assessment, investigations, design, and construction phase services associated with large high hazard dams (as defined by TCEQ) (“Project”). These services may include, but are not limited to the following: Assessment of leakage in Bay 9 Transition Beam and any other cracks noted by the ENGINEER during their investigation of Morris Sheppard Dam. Assessment, repair, or replacement of Bay 9 Weir Box and associated appurtenances. Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, Chemical and Forensic Structural Engineering Services required to support the above projects.

RFP No. 24-1337 Possum Kingdom Watershed and Reservoir Water Quality Modeling Project

Description: The BRA is requesting proposals for qualifications from a Firm to provide stakeholder reservoir and watershed water quality modeling services and to assist BRA in the development of a watershed management strategy for Possum Kingdom Lake. The purpose of the model is to provide scientifically based guidance that BRA can utilize to predict how surface waters will respond to changes in the watershed and to evaluate potential impacts from future development in the watershed on the reservoir’s usability and reliability as a public water supply and recreational water body. The selected Firm will also be responsible for facilitating a stakeholder group and a regulatory agency working group to garner input and support for the model.

RFP No. 24-1323 Emergency Management Support Services

Description: The BRA is requesting proposal for qualifications from firms to provide emergency management support services as well as routine, non-emergency related chemical handling, waste management, waste disposal and environmental regulatory compliance services. BRA generates wastes of “known” and “unknown” chemical composition. Some BRA waste streams may be characterized as industrial hazardous waste. The Contractor(s) selected will enter into Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Professional Services Contract(s) and shall thereafter, provide emergency management support services, upon request, and chemical handling and waste management advisory services and waste disposal services, on a routine basis. These services must support all operations, maintenance, administration, and regulatory compliance activities associated with all facilities owned or operated by the BRA. The selected Contractor must be readily available to respond to emergency events throughout the entirety of the Brazos River Basin, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, fifty-two (52) weeks a year.

RFP No. 23-06-1308 Possum Kingdom Ring Jet Valve Forensic Structural Evaluation

Description: The 78” RJV is a part of the Controlled Outlet Conduit (“COC”) which also consists of pipe approximately 200 feet long and varies in diameter from 42” to 144” inch. The BRA pursued a structural evaluation on the 78” RJV due to cracks within at least two welds at connection points on the internal stiffening vanes. The function of the stiffening elements is to keep the “slide” pipe round so that the RJV can properly operate back and forth for opening/closing the valve. The structural evaluation was performed by an ENGINEER and subsequently recommended a forensic structural evaluation be performed on the 78” RJV to determine the adequacy of the valve design.

RFP No. 23-04-1284 Audio-Visual Integration Equipment and Installation for Central Office
