North Bosque Watershed Coordination

The Brazos River Authority is currently engaged in a watershed coordination effort in the North Bosque River Watershed. This effort is made possible by an Environmental Protection Agency, Clean Water Act, Section 319(h) Grant administered through the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board. The objectives of this project include identifying all pollution prevention projects and measures that are underway in the watershed, tracking the progress of these projects, tracking rules and regulations, identifying water quality trends, aiding in the effective use of resources, and communicating regularly through the use of websites, newsletters, brochures, and meetings. The Authority will also act as a point of contact for stakeholders, concerned residents, or any otherwise interested party about activities in the watershed.

This website was established to help meet the objectives of the North Bosque River Watershed coordination effort. The following links provide information about agencies, projects, data collection, rules, new technologies, etc. in an attempt to highlight the positive activities taking place in the watershed.

Please feel free to contact Jay Bragg (jbragg@brazos.org) with questions regarding activities taking place within the North Bosque River Watershed. I may also be reached by telephone at (254) 761-3135.
